There is a madness in my head
I know
I put it there

Preying on my thoughts

When I am good
I am bad
When I am glad
I am sad.

The problem is in maintaining
Balance
In order to swing one way
I swing too far and create
An imbalance the other side
Of my emotions.

Life is full of motion
Activity
Stillness of micro seconds
Change is the only constant
But what do we change to?

There is a sanity in my mind
I know
I put it there
It is permanent
Purifying my thoughts.
